349 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, Georgia
Tickets $25, $30, $40

Don't miss this latest production from Bellydance Evolution, featuring Jillina, Heather Aued, and Sharon Kihara along with an international case of over 20 performers. Some of our local and regional favorites auditioned to participate and will be perfoming with the touring company, including metro Atlanta's Aziza Nawal, Heidi Hernandez, Magnolia, Faaridah, Babette Soleil, and Charlie Easton.

"FANTASM" brings to life the adventures of Sinbad the Sailor as told by Scheherazade in European versions of "One Thousand and One Nights" and features an original score by audiomachine’s head composer Paul Dinletir. If you saw the "Alice in Wonderland" production in 2014, you know that these shows feature amazing costumes, staging, music, and special effects... along with fabulous choreographies in many raqs styles!

Georgia Salimpour Collective presents another in a series of opportunities to dive deep into the cultural and artistic history of belly dance. This event will feature a lecture and performances focused on Turkish styles of belly dance (personal note: we just don't get enough of that around here!).

Local artist Aya of Istanbul, a native of Turkey (personal note: my original dance mama, yip!) will share her wealth of knowledge in Turkish dance, music, and culture. You'll also see that information brought to live in performances by Karma Karmelita, Yara Sultan of Savannah's Magic Carpet Dance Studio, and of course Aya herself.
